DANVILLE — The East Central Illinois Community Action Agency will provide energy bill payment assistance to qualified customers through its annual Powerblitz from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the David S. Palmer Arena, 100 W. Main St.
After this week, applications will be taken by appointment from 8 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the agency’s administrative office at 56 N. Vermilion St.
Customers must bring proof of income for all household members for the past 30 days, a copy of their most recent energy bill and social security cards for all household members.
Customers are served on a first come, first serve basis and are assisted based on the availability of funds and income eligibility.
