Deceptive practice reported in the 800 block of North Vermilion Street.
Wednesday:
Graffiti reported in the 1200 block of Cleary Street.
Assault in the 700 block of East Main Street.
A man arrested for failure to register a sex offender in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane.
Identity theft in the 1000 block of Glenwood Drive.
Thursday:
Battery in the 1600 block of Beechwood Street.
Domestic battery in the 1000 block of Fera Street.
Disorderly conduct in the 700 block of Oak Street.
A man arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance, obstructing an officer and criminal trespassing in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane.
Cellular phone stolen in the 200 block of East Fairchild Street.
Domestic battery in the 600 block of Harmon Avenue.
Financial identity theft in the 100 block of Cronkhite Avenue.
Attempted burglary and property damage in the 1400 block of North Franklin Street.
Domestic battery and unlawful restraint reported in the 1600 block of Crestview Avenue.
Vermilion County
Thursday:
Vehicle burglary in the 800 block of Wendt Street.
A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the first block of East Wood Street, Alvin.
Criminal sexual assault reported in the 100 block of South State Street.
A man arrested for domestic battery and violating an order of protection in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road.
Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:
Wednesday, 6:48 p.m. – At Henning Road and Oakwood Avenue involving Katelyn Welch, 16, of the 2300 block of Oakwood Avenue, and Michael Burke, 23, of Oakwood. Welch was cited for improper turn.
Thursday, 7:50 a.m. – At East Fairchild and Martin streets involving Anton Williams, 19, of the 1100 block of North Jackson Street, and Patricia Povclones, 52, of Danville. Williams was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Thursday, 7:50 a.m. – At Main and Gilbert streets involving Eric Smith, 33, of Georgetown, and Carmelita Phillips, 41, of Westville. Smith was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Thursday, 8:17 a.m. – At Vermilion and Main streets involving Phillip Castle, 40, of Bismarck, and Kim Youkey, 25, of Rossville. Castle was cited for driving without insurance and 11-305.
Thursday, 10:59 a.m. – At Franklin and Seminary streets involving June Smothers, 79, of the first block of Newell Street, and Victor Cunningham, 26, of the 600 block of Jewell Street. Smothers was cited for failure to yield while Cunningham was cited for driving without insurance.
Thursday, 1:08 p.m. – At Franklin and Seminary streets involving Lewis Hastings, 75, of the first block of Cavalier Court, and Jeffrey James, 40, of Danville. Hastings was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
Thursday, 3:27 p.m. – At Winter Avenue and Franklin Street involving Carol Hicks, 20, of the first block of East Voorhees Street, and Diana Bryant, 63, of Danville. Hicks was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Thursday, 10:59-11:42 a.m. — A vehicle accident at 320 N. Franklin St.
Thursday, 11:06-11:19 a.m. — An alarm malfunction at Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care, 1900 E. Main St.
Thursday, 12:18-12:25 p.m. — A medical call in the first block of East North Street.
Thursday, 2:10-2:23 p.m. — A medical call in the 1400 block of Lape Street.
Thursday, 3:30-3:36 p.m. — A vehicle accident at Bowman Avenue and Harrison Street.
