STAFF REPORT
DANVILLE — Project Success of Vermilion County, Inc. is accepting donations to help Vermilion County children in extreme need.
These children do not receive aid under any other holiday program in the county. Project Success provides the children with winter clothing first and foremost, and if donations allow, toys or miscellaneous needs.
The past several years have been a tremendous success and Project Success officials say they have been blessed with support from the community. They thank contributors in advance for helping those less fortunate.
Project Success sends a special thank-you to Walgreens Accounting employees who are helping 41 children. Thanks to community response, all 123 kids on the list have been selected.
Project Success also needs regular-sized stockings, stocking-stuffer items, games, books and miscellaneous gifts for older children. Donated items can be dropped off at Project Success, third floor of the Danville Township building, 101 W. North St. New items only will be accepted.
Monetary donations will be used to purchase coats, hats, gloves and other items on the wish list and can be delivered or mailed to Project Success, ATTN: Kimberly David, 101 W. North St., Danville, IL 61832. Donations will be accepted until noon Dec. 14.
Contact Kimberly David at (217) 822-2580 or kdavid@vcprojectsuccess.org if you have questions or need more information.
