Veedersburg man seeks change of venue

STAFF REPORT

COVINGTON, Ind. — A Veedersburg man charged with child molestation and child exploitation is seeking a change of venue and change of judge.

Stephen E. Quick II faces three counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation.

Fountain County Prosecuting Attorney Terry Martin said a hearing has been set for Jan. 7 to rule on the change of venue and charge of judge.

Quick’s girlfriend, Samantha Light, was sentenced to 125 years in prison. She pleaded guilty to three of four felony counts of child molesting.

Light and Quick were jailed in March, when one of the victims told her mother of the incidents. They were arrested on charges of molesting and videotaping sex acts with at least four children in their care, including two younger than age 2.
