DANVILLE — Aldermen this week will consider donating surplus fire equipment to area agencies.
Self-contained breathing apparatuses may be given to the Danville Police and Fire Arson Unit, Danville Area Community College fire scene program, and Bismarck, Lynch and Georgetown fire protection districts.
Also, the city council’s Public Services Committee will consider an effective date wording clarification in the sales tax increase ordinance and amending an ordinance regarding Freedom of Information Act changes to comply with state law.

The city council’s Public Services Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert E. Jones Municipal Building, 17 W. Main St.
