Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

An armed robbery was reported at 4:25 p.m. Monday at the Spirit Shop, 614 E. Voorhees St. About $250 to $300 was taken in cash. No injuries were reported. A subject reportedly entered the business, and came to the counter with what appeared to be a purchase. When the employee turned back around, the male black subject came around the counter and put a knife to the employee’s left side and demanded money. The subject fled with the cash westbound on Voorhees Street, possibly in a 1980s model Buick vehicle. No one is in custody. The black male is described as 5 ft. 6 in. to 5 ft. 8 in. tall, weighing about 150 to 165 pounds.

Monday:

Front picture window broken in the unit block of West Townsend Street.

Burglary to an automobile in the unit block of South Crawford Street.

Criminal damage to property in the 2000 block of East Main Street.

Residential burglary in the 100 block of Hegeler Street.

Residential burglary in the 1100 block of Chandler Street.

About $2,300 in damages reported from a burglary/criminal damage in the 800 block of East Madison Street.

Window broken in the 900 block of North Vermilion Street.

Criminal damage in the 500 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Purse and contents stolen from a ve-hicle at Danville Area Community College, 2000 E. Main St.

Criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Fairlawn Avenue.

Domestic battery/criminal damage in the 1600 block of Redden Court.

Theft in the 500 block of Chandler Street.

DVD player taken from a residence in the unit block of Quincy Street.

Male arrested in connection with domestic battery in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street.

Tuesday:

Playstation and games taken from a residence in the 600 block of Bryan Avenue.

Male arrested in connection with a domestic battery incident in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane.

Burglary to a vehicle in the 1200 block of Martin Street.

A cell phone, DVD player/recorder and computer monitor stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of East Williams Street.

Domestic battery in the 500 block of Brickyard Drive.

Drug investigation at Russell and Griffin streets.

Theft in the 500 block of North Gil-bert Street.

Domestic battery/unlawful re-straint/aggravated assault in the 1600 block of North Gilbert Street.

Trampoline damaged in the unit block of Greenwood Avenue.

Digital camera taken from a resi-dence in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Female arrested in connection with domestic battery in the 400 block of Harmon Street.

Today:

Home invasion in the unit block of Kist Avenue.

Male arrested in connection with residential burglary/theft in the 2000 block of East Main Street.

Vermilion County

Monday:

Male arrested in connection with theft of a vehicle/possible stolen prop-erty in the 500 block of North State Street in Ridge Farm.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Sunday, 5:21 p.m. — At Voorhees and Griffin streets involving Procoro Perez, 22, of the 1400 block of May Street, and Tamara L. Forman, 34, of Danville. Perez was ticketed for failure to reduce speed and no valid driver’s license.

Sunday, 1:47 p.m. — At Bowman and Voorhees streets involving Nikki L. Man, 18, of the 1100 block of Saratoga Drive, and Tracie Y. Cooper, 29, of Dan-ville. Man was ticketed for failure to reduce speed and operating an unin-sured vehicle.

Tuesday, 12:23 p.m. — At Bu-chanan and Commercial streets involv-ing Katiey Cooper, 40, of the 400 block of Park Street, and two parked vehicles. Cooper was treated at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center and re-leased. Cooper was ticketed for operat-ing an uninsured vehicle.

Tuesday, 8:28 a.m. — In the 400 block of Forrest Street and Third Street involving Jerry B. Tevebaugh, 60, of the 1000 block of Elm Street, and a parked vehicle. Tevebaugh was ticketed for failure to reduce speed.

Tuesday, 10:47 a.m. — At North and Vermilion streets involving Chris-tine L. Freed, 55, of Cayuga, Ind., and Robin D. Varvel, 52, of Westville. Freed was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop or yield intersection.

Tuesday, 2:56-3:13 a.m. — Medical call in the 1000 block of Sum-mit Street.

Tuesday, 2:54-3:16 p.m. — Medical call in the 400 block of Pixley Street.

Tuesday, 4:29-4:39 p.m. — Medical call in the 2900 block of East Main Street.
