CISSNA PARK —
Country Theatre Workshop is getting ready for its 2013 season. Those interested in acting on stage or helping back stage, should attend auditions. The well-loved comedy, “Come Blow Your Horn” and the hilarious comedy “Stealing Home” will have auditions at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.
Auditions for the musicals “Fiddler On The Roof” will be 6:30 p.m. April 12 and 10 a.m. April 13. For the last production, also a musical, “G.I. Holiday Jukebox,” auditions will be 6:30 p.m. May 3 and 10 a.m. May 4.

Fire hits Hoopeston tire business
Firefighters from at least five departments battle a blaze today at a tire business on Hoopeston's south side. Areas around the scene were evacuated due to the dense smoke the fire created. No injuries had been reported as of 7:30 a.m.
