DANVILLE —
Vermilion County Master Gardeners will host Vegetable Garden Planning presented by Jim Schmidt from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension office, 3164 N. Vermilion St. at Plaza 31.
This program will help attendees decide how much to plant based on average yield per plant and one’s family size. Participants will also learn the best place to plant a garden and how to prep the soil to ensure maximum harvest.
This “telenet” program will feature Power Point slides accompanied by the live voice of the instructor as people from all over the state participate at once. You will have the chance to ask questions at the end of the program.
Individuals can register online at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/cfiv/ or call 442-8615.
