DANVILLE —
The U of I Extension Office will offer the class Computer Basics from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 13-14 at the U of I Extension Office, 12190 U.S. Route 150.
The class is designed for the beginner computer user. They will investigate and discuss the “parts and pieces” of a computer, the desktop features, the computer keyboard and mouse, saving and moving documents, and cutting and pasting text, all in a hands-on way.
Questions will be encouraged and helpers will be available to assist students. The lab computers run Windows XP, but Vista and Windows 7 will be discussed.
The cost of this class is $30. Class fee is nonrefundable. A spot in the class is not guaranteed until payment is received.
