Police, fire calls

DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Incidents reported to police include:

Danville

Tuesday:

Harassment in the 200 block of East Hegeler.

Wednesday:

Theft of a $16 cordless phone in the 400 block of West Davis Street.

 

Thursday:

Telephone harassment in the 200 block of New York Street.

Domestic battery in the unit block of South State Street.

Burglary/theft in the 400 block of West Davis Street.

Possible identity theft in the 1600 block of  Edgewood.

Residential burglary in the unit block of North State Street. Copper taken.

Domestic battery in the 700 block of East Main Street.

Retail theft at County Market, 2917 N. Vermilion St.

Domestic battery in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road.    

Residential burglary in the 400 block of Avenue F.

Criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Perrysville Road.

Battery at Harrison and New York streets.

Friday:

Possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance at Bowman Avenue and Perrysville Road.

Vermilion County

Thursday:

Theft in the unit block  of Oak Street in Alvin.

Friday:

Domestic violence in the 800 block of East Young Street, Hoopeston.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 12:54 p.m. – At West Fairchild and North Walnut streets, involving Jesse R. Flores, 24, of the 1400 block of North Gilbert Street, and Lacy Jay Halley, 23, of Danville. Flores was cited for improper lane usage.

Thursday, 8:31-8:34 a.m. — Truck fire on Interstate 74 at mile marker 220.

Thursday, 11:36-11:42 a.m. — A medical call in the 2300 block of North Vermilion Street.

Thursday, 2:22-2:36 p.m. — A medical call in the 1500 block of Valleyview.

Thursday, 5:24-5:36 p.m. — A false alarm at 2 East Main Street.

Thursday, 5:28-5:42 p.m. — Overheated ballast at 104 Harvey Street.

Thursday, 8:03-8:18 p.m. — A medical call in the unit block of East Harrison Street.

Thursday, 8:23-8:32 p.m. — A medical call in the 600 block of West Williams Street.

Friday, 1:32-1:57 a.m. — Lift assistance at 3535 N. Vermilion St.

Friday, 5:08-5:16 a.m. — A medical call in the 900 block of North Collett Street.

Friday, 5:52-6:16 a.m. — A false alarm at 1619 N. Jackson St.
