DANVILLE —
Progressive Chapter of Danville Blacks In Government will host its 19th annual Black Tie Affair dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Days Hotel, 77 N. Gilbert St.
This year’s featured speaker will be Emma Metcalf, RN, MSN, the director of the VA Illiana Health Care System.
The banquet and awards is a semi-formal affair. Also, this year an individual or organization will receive our Image & Excellence Award and Scholarships will be given out to deserving ethnic minority students in our area.
Tickets are $25 per person Contact Ofelia N. Williams at 443-1128 after 5 p.m.
