Bingo games benefit Alzheimer fund

DANVILLE — DANVILLE — An evening of Basket Bingo to benefit the Illiana Alzheimer’s Fund is planned for Sept. 14, at Turtle Run Banquet Center, 332 E. Liberty Lane.

The event features Longaberger products.

Tickets will be available at the door starting at 5:30 p.m.. Bingo will begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission tickets are $12. A set of 12 Bingo game cards, one for each game, will cost $22. Additional cards are $2 each. The total package is $34.

Advance tickets are on sale at the Provena United Samaritans Medical Center Foundation office, 801 W. Fairchild.

The prize selection for Bingo winners includes more than $3,000 in Longaberger products, ranging from baskets, pottery, wrought iron and Christmas items. Door prizes also will be awarded throughout the evening, and a raffle will be conducted for a special Illini basket. Italian Beef, chicken salad sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Illiana Alzheimer’s Fund of the Provena United Samaritans Medical Center Foundation, to help families in our community dealing with Alzheimer’s disease. Proceeds from this event are used to present a bi-annual IAF Alzheimer’s Caregivers Conference every other April.
