WESTVILLE — Louise C. Hart, 92, lifelong resident of Westville, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Hawthorne Inn in Danville.

She was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Westville to David and Emma Stewart Hible.

Louise married Paul T. Hart Dec. 28, 1937, in Terre Haute, Ind. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, David (Millie) Hart of Danville; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Hart Kerr of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren, Holly Hart, Jody (Steven) Otto, Jill (Derrick) Swinford, Sherry (Todd) Damilano, Karen (Jason) Clark and Robbie Hart; six great-grandchildren, Chelsea (Jordan) Haynes, Hannah Swinford, Jared Otto, Jacob Otto, Sabrina Clark and Cecelia Damilano; a sister-in-law, Sally Yerem of Westville; a brother-in-law, Gene Hart of Westville; and a special friend, Jack Cottingham.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert; a sister, Delores Schabowski; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsae Marie Otto.

Louise was a cook at Westville High School and had worked at R&S Printing and J.C. Penny’s.

She was a member of Catlin Church of Christ and had attended Hooton Church of Christ for some time. A graduate of Westville High School, she was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, winning many ribbons for her quilting skills. Louise was a member of the Quilters Guild and was an avid Illini and Westville Tigers supporter.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Robison Chapel in Catlin, with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Entombment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Danville. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Robison Chapel.
