TILTON — Barbara Ann Davis, 77, of Tilton, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2010, at home with her family by her side.

She was born on Aug. 30, 1933, in Danville, the daughter of Audrey and Pansy (Keelle) Livengood.

Barbara was married to Robert Davis until his passing on April 12, 2010.

Survivors include their three daughters, Lillie (Pat) Sibert of Indiana, Ruth (Jim) Sigler of Danville and Billie Thurston of Tilton. Her 11 grandchildren, Karl, Lori and Robert Pundt, Shawn Pickett, Brenda, Starla and Dale Pierce, John and Angie Thurston, Jerrie Norton, and Dylan Jenkins, also survive her. She also is survived by several of her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her parents; three sisters, Gail Powell, Ruth Mizenhiemer and Beverly Hardesty; and her brother, Harry Livengood, preceded Barbara in death.

Barbara was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, bird watching, playing cards and bingo. She was a born-again Christian and supported several Christian ministers.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service to celebrate Barbara’s life will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Oakhill Cemetery in Danville with interment to follow. Pastor Anita Livengood has been asked to officiate.
