COVINGTON, Ind. — Albert B. Cronkhite, 95, of Covington, Ind., died at 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Albert was born on April 27, 1917, near Marshfield, Ind. He was the son of Clarence Earl and Edna Jane (Hickman) Cronkhite. He resided in Warren and Fountain counties all of his life.

Albert was a farmer. He also worked at Davies Meat Packing in Danville and Harrison Steel Casting Company in Attica, Ind. He enjoyed hunting and trapping.

Surviving are one sister, Helen Salts, of Williamsport, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Albert was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Cronkhite; and three sisters, infant Eleanor Cronkhite, Alice Williamson and Vivian Pearl Dowers.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon, Ind. Services will be there in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
