CHRISMAN — Jeffrey Lee Beals, 52, of Chrisman, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at his home.

Jeff was born Dec. 13, 1960, in Olney to Roger Dean and Betty Lou (Dettro) Beals.

On Nov. 24, 2012, he married Angela Marie Specht in Chrisman. She survives.

He also is survived by his parents, Roger and Betty Beals; two children, Blake Beals of Chrisman, and Jade Beals of Chrisman; three stepchildren, Parker Perrero of Chrisman, Carson Perrero of Chrisman, and Westin Perrero of Chrisman; two brothers, Mitch (Kimberley) Beals of Chrisman, and Chad (Shay) Beals of Paris; and two sisters, Missy (Craig) Kindred of Chrisman, and Pam (Rick) Lucas of Ridge Farm.

Jeff was a lifelong resident of Chrisman and was the former assistant basketball coach at Chrisman High School. He was a great sport enthusiast, with a love for golf.

Funeral services will begin at noon Friday, Jan. 25, at Chrisman First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Chrisman Athletic Booster Club.
