TILTON — Wilford E. Bott, 86, of Tilton, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center’s emergency room in Danville.

Wilford was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Danville to Earl and Blanche Seals Bott.

He married Gretchen Kingery on Nov. 5, 1950, in Catlin. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Wilford Lynn (Sandra) Bott of Springfield, and Dennis Dale (Kathy) Bott of Ogden; two daughters, Jeanine Cherie (Karl) Black of St. Joseph, and Tina Marie Bott of Davenport, Fla.; five grandchildren, Rebecca Bott of Cambridge, Mass., Ashley (Tyson) Horacek of Springfield, Todd Black of St. Joseph, and Michael and Amie Bott of Ogden; and three cousins, Harold, Alfred and Walter Bott of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wilford graduated from Danville High School. He was a pressman at R&S Printing Company for 43 years. He was a lifetime member of the Catlin Church of Christ, where he was an elder and Sunday school teacher.

He loved traveling and reading the Bible.

Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Catlin Church of Christ with Darren Johnson officiating. Burial in: Sunset Cemetery, Danville. Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Robison Chapel, Catlin.
