TILTON — Lavonna “Susie” Sue Black, 52, of Tilton, went to be with the Lord in Heaven at 1:25 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013.

She was born in Danville on Aug. 20, 1960, to Herbert H. and Rose Anna Black.

Lavonna was a member of the Vineyard Church in Danville. She always put everyone else and everything else before her own personal needs. Lavonna loved the Lord and was never afraid to tell you about his unconditional love for each of us.

Lavonna was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Anna Black; brother, Mark Black; and niece Makaylah Black (Watson).

She is survived by her son, Aaron (Carrie) Elliott; her father, Herbert H. Black and his wife, Alice Black; her brother, Greg (Vickie) Black; nephews Greg Black, Jr. and Cameron Black; and her very special friends Timothy, Renee and Zachary Elliott.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Vineyard Church, 3733 Poolside, off of Vermilion Street in Danville. Pastor Jay Sorrell will officiate. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, Danville, is in charge of cremation rites.
