Norma Jane (Chamness) Sewell

CHRISMAN — Norma Jane (Chamness) Sewell, 83, of Chrisman, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris.

Jane was born March 14, 2012, in Wabash, Ind. to David Otto and Eleanor (Dudgeon) Chamness.

She married Wayne Chester Sewell on Feb. 6, 1951, in Wabash, Ind.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Sewell; a son, David Sewell; a daughter, Nancy (Wayne) Strubinger; three grandchildren, Breanne, Caitlyn and Jonathon Strubinger; and a special friend, Shirley Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert M. Chamness.

Jane will be remembered for her love of books, music, mission work and the caring and mentoring of young people.

Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Friends Chapel Cemetery in Scotland, Ill. Krabel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bibles for the Blind, 3228 Rosehill Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47808-1207 or National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O.
