Elizabeth Pearl Lynn, 82, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Provena USMC.
Elizabeth was born on April 1, 1927, to Louis and Dorothy (Snyder) Pichon. She attended Diamond Grade School. Elizabeth was a cook at the Moose Lodge for 14 years and enjoyed raising her daughter. She also was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Elizabeth married Herman B. Lynn on Feb. 10, 1945, in Danville; he preceded her in death in December of 1987.
Surviving is a daughter, Elizabeth “Susie” (Roger) Kemp; two grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Collins and April (Jeff) Kemp; nine great-grandchildren, Charlie Jr., Taylor, Kayla, Jordan, Logan, Morgan, Austin, Kyle and Cameron; three brothers, Raymond (Donna) Pichon, Kenny (Patsy) Pichon and Frank (Pat) Pichon; and one sister, Myrtle (Gene) Hinkle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorothy Pichon; her husband, Herman; a granddaughter, Julie Ann Houser and two nephews, Greg Hinkle and Andy Schackmann; and her brother and sister-in-laws on Herman’s side.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at Pape Memorial Home, 10 E. Williams in Danville with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Guest
