OAKWOOD — Delores L. Frazier, 75, of Oakwood, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at her home.

Per her and her family’s wishes, she will be cremated at Pape Funeral Home in Danville.

Delores was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Batestown, Ill., to Arthur Clyde and Mary Kinney.

She attended Diamond Grade School and Oakwood High school. She worked at Tee Pak starting in the mid-1970s and retired from there in 2002. She was an avid coin and jewelry collector; they were her “Barbie dolls.”

The most important part of Delores’ life were her grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them and was very proud to be their grandmother.

In 1954, she married James Robert Frazier in Danville. They had three children, Tamie Ostendorf, James Robert Frazier II (Dawn), and Jeffrey Frazier (Teresa), all of whom survive. Other survivors include a sister, Janet Irene Anderson; a brother, Jim Kinney (Laura); eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Ann Dines and Katie Pollock; and a brother, Lauran Kinney.

The family will have a private gathering at Delores’ home in Oakwood. She will be deeply missed by her family and those she called friends. Condolences may be mailed to P.O. Box 397, Oakwood, IL 61858.
