MONTEZUMA, Ind. — Shirley D. Holford, 74, of Montezuma, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in her residence.

She was born June 30, 1938, in Danville, Ill., to Cloyd Raymond Spicer and Frances Baldwin Spicer. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Dana Church of the Nazarene.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Holford Sr.; and a daughter, Connie Atkinson.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Holford Jr. of Socon, Iowa; two daughters, Jean Smith of Clinton, Ind., and Rita Pucalik of Tiffin, Ohio; five brothers, David Spicer of Covington, Ind., Ray Spicer, Carroll Spicer of Missouri, Ronnie Spicer of Wabash, Ind., and Danny Smith of Danville, Ind.; and three sisters, Sally Gallez of Westville, Ill., Patsy Cherney of Covington and Eleanor Smith of Williamsport, Ind. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST Tuesday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma with services at 1 p.m. EST with the Rev. Ronald Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
