CHRISMAN — Mrs. Meryl Mildred (Witt) Fulton, 101, went home to be with the Lord at her home in Chrisman on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at 4:20 p.m.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1911, in Hume, to Amiel and Mary (Burns) Witt. On Aug. 2, 1929, she married Max Fulton in Redmon. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fulton was a homemaker. She dearly loved her family, enjoyed sewing, reading, playing cards, crocheting and dancing.

She is survived by her daughters, Norma Martin of Covington, La. and Maxine (Jim) McKnight of Chrisman; one sister, Rosalie Apple of McCordsville, Ind.; seven grandchildren: Mary Ann Lee, Rick Martin, Susan Galante, Debbie Porter, Tony Johnson, Tracey Rademacher and Gwen Ross; 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Mary Ellen Craig; two sisters; three brothers; and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, from noon to 2 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with burial at Woodland Cemetery.
