INDIANAPOLIS —
Gerald A. Parker, 91, World War II veteran, died on Dec. 9, 2012.
He was employed by Sears Roebuck and General Motors until his retirement in 1981.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eileen Campbell Parker; children, Bruce (Dev) Parker, Dale Parker, Carl Parker, Janet Parker (deceased), Nancy (John) Phillips and Sharon (Tim Sr.) Colbert; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. EST Saturday, Dec. 15, immediately followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. in Mount Olive United Methodist Church, 1449 S. High School Road, Indianapolis. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
