DANVILLE — Evelyn Johnson, 53, of Danville, passed away at 7:18 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her home.

She was born Jan. 13, 1960, in Danville, the daughter of Everett and Clara (Borello) Rogers.

She married Anthony “Tony” Johnson in Danville on Oct. 10, 1980. He survives.

Surviving is her mother; one son, Timothy Carter Johnson of Danville; two sisters, Roberta (Efrain) Carrillo of Danville and Mary Noble of Louisiana; two brothers, Andy (Jennifer) Borello of Westville and Alexander Wolffe of Danville; one special uncle, Mark Decker of Danville; seven nieces; a special niece and namesake, Isabel Evelyn Carrillo; three nephews; and three great-nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, Dominic Borello.

She worked 30 years at KIK Custom Products. She loved to play her computer games. She loved cats and dogs, especially her miniature dachshunds.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials can be made to Evelyn’s family for use toward medical bills.
