DANVILLE — Ernest Eugene Miller, 64, of Danville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville, with Curtis Darling officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Pape’s. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Ernest was born on Feb. 21, 1949, in Danville to Ernest George and Leona (Dieu) Miller.

He attended Diamond Grade School and Oakwood Township High School, graduating in 1967. Ernest worked as a pressman at R&S for over 20 years before he retired in the early 1990s.

He lived to travel and had been everywhere from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg, Branson, Mo., the Wisconsin Dells; and his favorite place was Mackinaw City on Mackinaw Island, Mich. Ernest also attended Hillery Bible Chapel in Danville.

Ernest leaves behind his mother, Leona Miller, of Danville; a special friend and travel partner, Sandra Lister, of Danville; and many cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father and several aunts and uncles.
