Pamela “Penny” Jean Rahm

MUNCIE — Pamela “Penny” Jean Rahm, 67, of Muncie, passed away at 2:55 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at her home in Muncie.

Pam was born Sept. 19, 1945, in Danville. She was the daughter of Howard Bailey and Marcella (Pilkington) Juvinall.

She married Robert “Perk” Rahm in 1975 in Danville. He survives.

Other survivors include sons, Michael Wilt Jr. of Champaign, Robert (Layne) Wilt of Severn, Md., Raymond (Michelle) Wilt of York, Pa., and Dale (Traci) Wilt of Muncie; “daughter,” Jane Harrier of Danville; grandchildren, Thomas Harrier, Michelle Harrier, Holly White, Shawn Madden, Robert Wilt Jr., Candice Shepherd, Candace Wilt, Patrick Byrd, Brandon Wilt, Kyle Wilt, Brittany Wilt, Dale Wilt Jr., Andra Wilt, Caitlyn Wilt, Tyler Gutierrez, Zach Wilt, Kayla Wilt, Jacob Wilt, Bailey Wilt, Ayden Wilt, Makenzie Wilt, Marci Wilt, Cassiday Wilt, Calvin Wilt and Elysse Wilt; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Brittany Wilt; and many close aunts and uncles.

The early years of Pamela’s life were spent traveling the world as the daughter of a serviceman. A woman of great faith, Pamela was an active member of Danville Community Church of God.

She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was famous for her bed-dried chicken and noodles. Pamela took great pride in her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Pamela’s life will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Danville Community Church of God, with pastors Steve Stanley and Jeremy Zerkle officiating. A visitation will be prior to her service from 1-4 p.m. at the church. Following services, Pamela is to be cremated. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made in Pamela’s name to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be left at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
