TILTON — Robert D. Hansen, 71, of Tilton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in Chicago.

He was born Dec. 12, 1941, in Denver, Colo., to Paul Wilhelm Hansen and Theo May Wiley.

He married Donna Pasquale on March 13, 1976, in St. Louis. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Sherrilee (Mark) Shaddock of Colorado, Bobbette (Terry) French of Danville and Kandace Erickson of Colorado; a son, Ken (Karen) Hansen of Springfield, Ill.,; a brother, Richard K. Hansen of Arkansas; a sister, Sheri (Neal) Ellisor of Texas; and eight grandchildren, Heather and Samantha Siddens, Tyler Hansen, Kara Riter, Kayla Erickson and Noah, Jonah, and Hannah Shaddock. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob served his country in the United States Navy for several years. Following his discharge, he worked as a truck driver.

A graveside service for Robert Hansen will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at the Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday prior to the services at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, in Danville.
