Micah Alexander Miley

COVINGTON, Ind. — On Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at 6:21 a.m., our Lord Jesus took Micah Alexander Miley in his arms and swept him away to Heaven.

Micah joined his family at 10:41 p.m. Dec. 30, 2012.

Those he left on earth blessed by his short life include his parents, Daryl “Ed” Miley and Shannon Miley; his brothers, Levi Miley and Dartanyan Noble, of Covington, Ind.; his five sisters, Storm and Azariah Miley of Covington, Ind., Jordan Miley of Burleson, Texas, Ashley Miley of Williamsport, Ind., and Rubia Lemus of California; also his grandparents, Richard and Linda (Kay) Worden of Covington, Ind., Gordon and Stacy Miley of Williamsport, Ind., Daryl Ray of Marshall, and Melanie Zakoor of Peoria, Ariz.; his great-grandmas Charlotte Noble of Covington, Ind., and Kay Frink-Sills of Kingman, Ind. Micah also leaves behind his godmother, Tabitha Shoaf of Williamsport, Ind.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and his “adopted” brothers and sisters, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Receiving him in Heaven along with Jesus include his great-grandpas, Dean Noble, Carl Frink and Grandpa Rick Martin; his great-grandparents, Wilbur and Kerry Miley; great-great-grandma, Ardena Rush; great-grandma Mildred Ray; his special brother, Dakota Houldridge; aunt Tina and uncle Vern Cook; uncle Gene Noble; and cousin Joshua Noble.

Micah’s family would like to send special thanks to the doctors and OB nursing staff at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, the air NICU unit at Carle Hospital in Champaign and the air NICU unit from Peoria who did all that they could to help Micah and the family. Your efforts were truly appreciated.

Visitation for Micah will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville, with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. All times are CST.
