ANITA ANN (JAGGERS) BRANHAM


GEORGETOWN — Anita Ann (Jaggers) Branham, 43, of Georgetown, passed away at 4:01 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1963, in Danville, the daughter of Judi (Archie) Rahm. She married Richard Branham on June 6, 1987. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2002.

Survivors include: her parents of Georgetown; aunt, Doris Urban of Westville; close friend, Mary; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Ethel Brown; aunts, Joyce Cook and Alma Rahm; brother, Archie Frank Rahm Jr.; and cousin, Darryl Cook.

Anita attended Georgetown High School and was currently attending DACC. She was a member of the Ridge Farm United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. Anita enjoyed singing to the Lord and traveling around and singing at different places. She liked to collect angels. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

A celebration of Anita’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown. Burial: Forrest Park Cemetery. Officiating: Pastor Jennie Chin and Glen Thompson. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
