DANVILLE —
Barbara Jeanne Goodwin Hazelbaker, of Richmond, Ind., and formerly of Danville, passed this life Oct. 9, 2012, surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 1, 1928, the daughter of Don and Mabel Ellis Goodwin.
She attended Diamond Grade School and Oakwood High School.
In December 1944 she married her high school sweetheart, Clifford (Toody) Hazelbaker. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Andy and Doug Hazelbaker, of Richmond; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, Richard (Ardith) Goodwin of Rantoul and Eric (Jeannenne) Goodwin of Danville; three sisters, Mid Carr, Nancy (Tom) Smith and Judy (Harvey) Truex, of Danville.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son Clifford II; her parents; a brother, Donald; and a brother-in-law, Gordon Carr.
She learned love as a child.
She gave love to all.
She died knowing she was loved.
