CONROE, Texas — Dolores B. Jones, 95, of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Danville, died at 12:12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, in Conroe.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Holy Family Church, 444 E. Main St., Danville, with Father Ted Pracz officiating. Entombment at: Resurrection Mausoleum.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Holy Family Church, 444 E. Main St., Danville, IL 61832.

Dolores was born June 1, 1917, in Menominee, Mich., to John and Anna Janowitz.

She attended Menominee schools. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, traveling and going on many adventures over the years with friends and family. She had a robust spirit and lived life to the fullest.

Over the years, she made her home in many different places, including Illinois, Phoenix, Ariz., and the Carriage Inn, Conroe.

Dolores married Clyde Jones, and he preceded her in death in 1985.

Surviving are one son, Greg (Kristine) of Conroe; daughter-in-law, Colleen Hulce-Jones of Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren, Eric (Maggie) of Big Pine Key, Fla., Ryan (Tiffany) of Conroe, David and Julia of Los Angeles, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Addison and twins Connor and Owen; and a great-grandson on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her precious son, David Allen Jones; her sisters, Blanche Roland and Leona Smith; and her brother, John Janowitz.
