GESSIE, Ind. —
Cheryl A. Brannin, 53, of Gessie, Ind., passed away at 11 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Ind.
She was born Sept. 28, 1956, in Clarksville, Tenn., the daughter of the late J.B. and Bernice Miller Maynard.
She married Jimmy D. Brannin on Sept. 13, 1975, in Cayuga, Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Price of Gessie, Ind.; two grandchildren, Justine and Justin Price of Gessie, Ind.; mother-in-law, Helen Brannin of Perrysville, Ind.; five sisters, Eula Reynolds of Clinton, Ind., Linda (Dave) Niccum of Covington, Ind., Sheila (Curly) Arms of West Lebanon, Ind., Tina (Joe) Byrd of Perrysville, Ind., and Brenda (Bill) Knowles of Williamsport, Ind.; three brothers, Wilburn Maynard of Nebraska, Melvin (Lori) Maynard of Tennessee and Johnny (Marla) Maynard of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Harold Brannin.
Cheryl was a supervisor at Steelgrip/Medline in Covington, Ind. She enjoyed gardening, flea markets and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
