HOOPESTON — Crystal Ann Longfellow, 33, of Hoopeston, passed away at 2:33 p.m. EST Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis.

Crystal was born on June 29, 1979, in Danville, the daughter of Larry and Judy (Hurt) Longfellow of Hoopeston. They survive.

She also is survived by two brothers, Jason Longfellow and Matthew Longfellow of Hoopeston; sister, Rebecca (Josh) Longfellow-Simonton of Hoopeston; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Nadine Longfellow and Robert and Betty Hurt; aunt, Connie Warner; and two cousins, Christopher Coon and Vickie Everheart Baker.

Crystal attended Hoopeston High School. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing bingo and watching the “Twilight” movies. She also enjoyed shopping and buying things for her family.

A celebration of Crystal’s life will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Wolfe-Blurton Funeral Home in Hoopeston, with Pastor Dan First officiating. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
