VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — Larry “Tom” Clark, 66, of rural Veedersburg, Ind., died at 8 a.m. EST Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis having been ill eight months.

He was born Oct. 13, 1946, at Walnut Ridge, Ark., the son of Harry Ray and Ethel (Kelley) Clark.

He graduated from Turkey Run High School and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a resident of Veedersburg 34 years, and formerly lived at Kingman, Ind., and Tangier, Ind. He was a member of the VFW Post 2395 and American Legion Post 291. He enjoyed the outdoors, all sports and especially the Cubs. His ultimate hobby was his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by a daughter, Joy Dawn Clark of Danville, and a son, Harry Thomas Clark of Veedersburg; two sisters, Harriett Bacon and Melba (Lloyd) Riddle, both of Kingman; three brothers, Jack (Jane) Clark of Crawfordsville, Ind., Jim (Bridget) Clark of Ladoga, Ind., and Dick (Terry) Clark of Camden, Tenn.; three grandsons, Brandon Clark and Tyler and Zachary Haworth; and several nieces and nephews. His parents and two granddaughters preceded him in death.

Visitation will be noon EST until services begin at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, Ind. Rev. Michael McCollum will officiate. Burial will be in Mt.
