DANVILLE — Cinda Sue Pope, 68, of Danville, died at 9:01 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

Services: 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams, Danville, with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation: 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Pape’s.

Sue was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Tuscola to Forrest Earl and Marcella “Sally” Cox Loop.

She attended grade school and graduated from Newman, Ill., High School in 1962.

She had worked at Kmart, Second National Bank, Tractor Supply and at Royal Donut for 36 years.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search and sports. She loved spending time with her family and especially her children, grandsons and great-grandson.

Sue married James “Jim” Pope on June 28, 1964, at Pleasant Ridge Church. He survives.

Also surviving are three wonderful children, Debra (Kelly Montgerard) Pope, Jeffrey (Patricia Parks) Pope and Dennis Earl Pope; two grandsons, Tyler Pope and Trey Montgerard; a great-grandson, Wyatt Allen Pope; two brothers, Kenneth (Gen) Loop and Barry (Peggy) Loop; and two sisters, Sheree (Rodney) Deffenbaugh and Lisa (Kevin) Mackey. She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Lennie Lou Monroe.
