Johnathan A. McCrone, infant, was born on Oct. 30, 2009, and sadly passed away on Oct. 31, 2009, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born to Thomas and Annie (Shonk) McCrone of Georgetown. They will miss him dearly.
Others who mourn his passing include his paternal grandparents, Jim and Vicki McCrone of Georgetown; his maternal grandparents, Anne Shonk of Georgetown and the late Allen Shonk; his four uncles; and one cousin, Kay Ann McCrone.
He was only here for a short period of time, but blessed us worth a lifetime.
A funeral service for Johnathan will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. A gathering of family and friends will be from noon until 2 p.m. before the service. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery. Memorials may be given in his name to Carle Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
