N. Catherine Richards, 71, of Danville, passed away at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Provena USMC in Danville.
She was born Sept. 8, 1938, in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of Earnest and Elizabeth Moore. She married Dennis Richards on May 28, 1989. He survives.
Catherine also is survived by her children, Dean Middleton and family, Duke Middleton and family, Darren (Dawn) Richards and family, Karen (Michael) Marnan and family and Debbie Richards and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Catherine graduated from high school in Texas. She worked as a waitress and bartender before retiring. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held for Catherine at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made in Catherine’s name to the organization of the donor’s choice.
