Brock A. Wilson, 20, of Danville, passed away early Sunday morning, Nov. 22, 2009, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in rural Danville.
He was born Dec. 12, 1988, in Danville, the son of Judy A. Anaya Wilson and Greg T. Wilson.
Survivors include his mother, Judy A. Wilson of Urbana; father and stepmother, Greg (Lesley) Wilson of Cayuga, Ind.; paternal grandmother, Betty Wilson of Danville; three brothers, Joe (Jenni) Wilson of Cicero, Ind., Chad (Tabatha Townsend) Wilson of Ridge Farm, and Tyler Craft of Cayuga, Ind.; niece, Chloe; two nephews, Ashton and Zachary; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Brock was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill (Noreen) Anaya and paternal grandfather, Don Wilson.
Brock was assistant manager in the cabinet department at Menard’s in Danville. He attended Central Christian Church in Danville. Brock was a 2007 graduate of Westville High School. He played on the 2005 and 2006 state runner-up football teams. He also wrestled and played trumpet in the marching band. After high school he attended D.A.C.C. for one year. Brock was a former member of the Lynch Fire Department and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed building, fixing things, fishing, canoeing, big trucks and listening to country music. Most of all, Brock liked helping anybody who needed help and spending time with his family.
