GEORGETOWN —
Ralph I. Hamand, 57, of Centralia, formerly of Georgetown, passed away at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
He was born Aug. 25, 1955, in Danville, the son of Ralph Allan and Doris M. (Williford) Hamand.
Ralph was an avid Cardinals fan. He liked going roller skating and loved walking.
He will be missed by his mother, Doris Hamand, of Urbana; and his sisters, Sally Griffith of Cayuga, Ind., and Martha (John) Payne of Westville. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph; and his brother, Marion.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
