WESTERN SPRINGS — Edward Bluhm, 82, of Western Springs.

Beloved husband of Shirley, nee Stutz for 60 years. Loving father of Lyle E. (Susanne) Bluhm and Cindy L. (Scott) Bowman. Devoted grandfather of Christopher and Haley Bluhm and Caitlyn Bowman. Dear brother of Marilyn Bluhm. Fond uncle of many.

Visitation: 3-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11500 German Church Road, Burr Ridge. Interment: Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethesda Lutheran Home, Watertown Wis., Concordia Seminary Student Tuition Fund, St. Louis, Mo., or Seaspar, Downers Grove, appreciated. Funeral home phone: (708) 352-6500.
