NEWPORT, Ind. —
Vermillion County 4-H Junior Leaders and friends will be out and about in costume today and Wednesday trick-or-treating for canned goods, non-perishables toiletries and personal necessities.
The Junior Leaders will go to the following communities:
Tuesday — Newport, Ind. at 6 p.m. EDT, followed by Cayuga, Ind. The Junior Leaders and friends will gather at the courthouse at 6 p.m. EDT.
Wednesday —Fairview Park, Ind., at 6 p.m. EDT, followed by Clinton, Ind. The group will meet at South Vermillion Middle School at 6 p.m. EDT.
Junior Leaders will have a white bag with a green 4-H clover to be easily identifiable in costume. All items will be donated to food pantries serving the communities in which the items are collected.
Those interested can take donated items to the closest Vermillion County bank. Junior Leaders will pick up the items and take them to the closest food pantry.
