DANVILLE — Vivian Duvall, 91, of Danville, and formerly of Veedersburg, Ind., died at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville.

Mrs. Duvall was born March 15, 1921, in Veedersburg, the daughter of Edward R. and Lillie Bell (Hall) Dobbs.

She married William R. Duvall Jr. in 1958. He preceded her in death in 1989. She also is preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.

Surviving family include a son, Jay Kell, Tilton; a daughter, Janet Page, Ceres, Calif.; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church near Covington. Through the years Vivian enjoyed sitting on her porch visiting with the neighbors, watching soap operas and was always looking for opportunities to help others.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. EST Sunday, Nov. 11, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. EST Monday, Nov. 12, at the funeral home, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Curt Darling will be officiating. Burial will be at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
