DANVILLE — Delois “Lois” Robinson, 57, of Danville, passed this life at 8:22 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

Lois was born Dec. 21, 1954, in Webb, Miss., to Lindesy Stockin and Martha Brown.

Lois was a restaurant cook for many years.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother, Martha Bell Tyler; a son, Cortez Brown; and a daughter, Sharkia Brown, of Danville; seven grandchildren, Coriands Brown, LaQuisha Felton, Daveyon Darnell Jr., Cortez Brown Jr., Chance Brown, Skilar Brown, Choyce Brown; an aunt, Willie (Leroy) Robinson of Danville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Delois was preceded in death by her father, Lindsey Stockin.

A celebration of life will commence at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St., Danville. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating: Elder Leo Davis. Interment: Spring Hill Cemetery.
