DANVILLE — James Willis, 45, of Danville, passed away at 1:46 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Jimmy was born March 3, 1966, in Danville, the son of William and Carol Willis.

He is survived by his mother, Carol (Larry Newell) Willis of Danville; his father, William (Cheryl) Willis of Danville; one daughter, Tiffany Willis of Westville; one sister, Tami (Mike) Conrad of Ridge Farm; one half brother, Andy Creviston of Danville; one grandson, Ryan Willis; one special niece, Katie Conrad; several cousins; two special friends, Billy and Marty Leigh; and significant other, Kelly Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Jimmy got his associate’s degree from Danville Area Community College before working at R&S Printing, driving a semi for Sygma and being the transportation supervisor at Arnold Logistics.

He loved watching nature and being outdoors at Forest Glen. Most important, he loved his family.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville, with Pastor Dave Rumley officiating. A visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Condolences may be left at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
