HOOPESTON —
Patricia L. Polson, 71, of Hoopeston, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at 5:52 p.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Pat was born March 17, 1939, in Eureka, Kan., the daughter of Robert and Thelma Davis Hile.
She married Leon Polson on March 14, 1981. He survives.
She also is survived by one brother, Delbert James (Alberta) Stapleford of Abany, Ga.; one sister, Janet (Jay) Cowan of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Hoopeston High School Class of 1957, she also attended a merchandising college in Chicago.
Pat was a travel agent and owned Main Street Travel in Hoopeston for many years. She enjoyed reading, traveling and enjoyed cyber exploring and also was a member of the Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Hoopeston.
Private family graveside services were held Wednesday Sept. 1, 2010, at Floral Hill Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Wolfe Funeral Home in Hoopeston.
