DANVILLE — Beverly J. Wendell, 77, of Danville, passed away at 6:49 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She was born March 4, 1935, in Danville, to Horace C. and Dorothy M. Martin Glass.

Surviving are two daughters, Vicki (Jerry) Frazier of Danville and Lori (Bruce) Coleman of Arizona; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Dawn) Collins, Daniel Collins and Amanda Gibbs; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Barnes, Corinne Gibbs and Kole Collins; and a special-niece, Paula (Joe) Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Glass.

Beverly had been a book binder at Recording and Statistical for over 35 years and was a member of Second Church of Christ in Danville. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed reading and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.

A graveside service for Beverly Wendell will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Services will be for family only. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville is in charge of arrangements.
