KELLER, Texas — Paul Derek Kent, 23, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, after a lifelong struggle with congenital heart disease.

A donation in Derek’s memory can be sent to Cook Children’s Health Foundation, 801 Seventh St., Fort Worth, Texas 76104. Please note on your check “In memorial for Paul Derek Kent.”

He was a loving son and brother. Derek was a great sports fan.

Derek was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clyde Wesley Pratt.

Survivors: father and mother, Dave and Susie Kent; sister, Alyssa Kent; grandparents, Paul and Barbara Kent and Virginia Pratt; nephews, Derek Earnshaw; and other extended family.
