Evelynne Thompson, 70, died at 3:25 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams, Danville, IL 61832 with Pastor Matt Filicsky officiating. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Pape’s. Memorials may be made to Fairview Methodist Church. Burial will be at Danville National Cemetery.
Evelynne was born April 7, 1942, in rural Catlin of Vermilion County to George and Mary Kinser Howe.
She graduated from Catlin High School, loved watching TV and raising her cats.
She married Wayne Russell Ross on March 6, 1964, in Danville and he preceded her Nov. 16, 1977.
Survivors include four children, Davis Ross, Michael (Malynda) Ross, Larry (Jamie) Ross and Diane Kimberlin; two brothers, George (Glona) Howe and Russell (Madelyn) Howe; two sisters, Beverly Bryant and Helen (John) Shank.
Evelynne was preceded by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister.
