DANVILLE — Harold Wayne Miller, 81, of Danville passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in Sullivan. He was born on April 29, 1931, in Brazil, Ind., the son of Herbert and Bertie (Stevens) Miller. He married Gertrude Pauline Miller on Oct. 26, 1974; she survives.

Harold is also survived by four children, Brad (Debbie) Miller of Cayuga, Ind., Lisa (Alan) Elder of Henning, Arlen Miller of Dallas, Texas, and Kenneth (Brenda) Bell of Catlin. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Cole (Katie) Elder, Danielle (Michael) Erdman and Brian Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his seven siblings which included a twin brother, Darold.

Harold was the youngest of eight children. He was employed by Wm. Davie Meat Packing and Allith Prouty Corp. Harold was a minister in the Church of Christ for 40-plus years. His ministry began at Morey Chapel Church of Christ in 1967. Harold ministered at several churches throughout his ministry, but Morey Chapel was always home for him. Harold loved people, he liked to visit and be involved in church activities. In his later years, Harold enjoyed his yard and garden.

A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel. Dean High will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Sandusky Cemetery in Westville.
